Performative Work
It's actually a thing. Workers spend precious time demonstrating how busy they are.
It was 1988. I was in Lahaina. I stepped into a T-shirt shop (there were many until last week1). I don’t often buy T-shirts with logos and letters. I opt for Hawaiian shirts by Reyn Spooner or Crazy Shirts. But this one made me smile.
