Despite the continuing struggles to put generative AI solutions into sustained production and the largely unfulfilled productivity gain promises, everyone seems to be moving on to the next hype party.

Generative AI agents, it seems, are the latest topic to occupy the Interwebs and media. The term “agentic” is trending. The uptick began well over three months ago. Today, it has a brisk stride and more to come.
