I remember my first encounter with an operating system. It was at CSU in 1975. More influential, half a decade later, DOS (~1980) left an indelible mark on me through the mid-90s. You’re probably thinking - this will be a long yawner of an article teaming with OS jargon that serves only a few elderly interests. Sorry to disappoint.
